Air quality monitoring is impossible without reliable and diverse data sources. Our website
compiles information from various measurement systems to provide the most comprehensive picture of
air conditions in different areas.
You can access all the collected data for your research. To do so, contact us.
Data Sources
The information about air pollution published on the website is sourced from the following:
-
Yerevan Municipality Information System, providing air pollution data from
sensors installed at city construction sites under the municipality's directive.
-
ArmAQI — a volunteer project for installing DIY air pollution sensors in Armenia,
with data transmitted through the Sensor.Community platform.
-
Clarity — a manufacturer of air pollution sensors used by the Yerevan Municipality.
We collect information published on the manufacturer’s open map.
-
PurpleAir — a manufacturer of air pollution sensors installed by individuals and organizations on their initiative.
These sensors are also installed in Armenia by the Frankyants.org project.
Other Sources
Information from these sources is not used in our project, but you can also explore air pollution data there.
- IQAir — a manufacturer of air quality monitoring devices.
It publishes information from its sensors as well as processed data from other sources using a proprietary algorithm.
- aqicn.org — a website collecting air pollution information
from many sources, including Sensor.Community, Clarity, PurpleAir, and others. We gather data directly from the sources.
